holiday magic comes to life at fairmont hotel vancouver
-From teas to toasts, Santa to speakeasies, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver invites guests to sip, savour, and celebrate the holidays in timeless Fairmont style-
Vancouver, BC (November 12, 2025) – This winter, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver transforms into a festive haven of elegance, comfort, and holiday magic. From the return of the enchanting Holiday Afternoon Tea to the spirited allure of Kringle’s Speakeasy, the hotel invites guests and locals alike to celebrate the season in style.
From November 13 to January 4, the Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea invites guests to indulge in a luxurious tea service inspired by the beauty of the season. The experience includes an assortment of finely crafted finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a medley of exquisite pastries that echo the joy of the holidays. A selection of teas complements the menu, while festive cocktails are available for those wishing to toast the season. Tea is served Tuesday through Sunday, with seatings at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made online.
As day turns to night, the celebration continues in the hotel’s lower lobby at Kringle’s, a whimsical pop-up bar open Tuesday through Sunday, from November 19 to December 31. The space evokes the nostalgic charm of classic Christmas films, complete with glistening ornaments, vintage décor, and twinkling lights. Behind the bar, expert mixologists craft imaginative seasonal cocktails – like the “Starry Night Spagliato” and the “Home Alone”, made with gummy-bear infused vodka – alongside thoughtfully prepared small plates and shareable bites. Limited reservations are available online, with walk-ins welcome.
Adding to the festive tapestry, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s breezeway transforms into a winter spectacle as it becomes the first stop along Fleurs de Villes NOEL’s floral trail. This year’s installation features a stunning mannequin inspired by “A Partridge in a Pear Tree,” created by local floral designers. The much-loved annual event celebrates Vancouver’s talented floristry community and will be on display from December 5 to 14.
Beyond these marquee experiences, the hotel presents a full suite of holiday offerings. A Holiday Retail Pop-Up runs from November 28 through January 1, featuring a curated selection of Fairmont favourites including keepsake ornaments, dog collars, gift cards, and more.
A Tea with Santa on December 20 invites the young and the young at heart to sing along with Santa and his elves, share playful moments with The Grinch and Cindy-Lou Who, and visit the Build-A-Bear workshop to create a cuddly holiday keepsake to take home. Held in the hotel’s grand Pacific Ballroom, a Christmas Afternoon Tea will also be offered on December 21 and 22, with seatings at 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m.
Earlier in December, Notch8 Restaurant welcomes guests to enjoy a Festive Lunch Buffet and Weekend Brunch Buffet, both featuring vibrant spreads of seasonal favourites and sumptuous holiday cuisine.
Prepared by Executive Chef Michael Reid and his culinary team, a Christmas Turkey Dinner To-Go offers guests the flavours of a traditional holiday feast without the stress of cooking. Perfect for gatherings of four to five or eight to ten people, the meal includes all the classic trimmings and dessert, beautifully packaged and ready to reheat and serve at home. Orders will be available for pick-up on December 24 and 25.
Every corner of Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is touched by the season’s spirit. From twinkling lobbies and festive décor to a team dedicated to creating moments of joy, the hotel invites guests to rediscover the magic of the holidays within Vancouver’s most storied setting.
